Gravenhurst's septic inspection program is back

The program, which is now in it’s 15th season is on until the end of August. Residents living on waterfront properties with septic systems may be selected randomly for re-inspection. Town staff will clearly identify themselves upon their visit. Staff members say the initiative is not to penalize property owners, but rather educate the public on how to keep our lakes and ground water pollution-free.
