Bracebridge General Council to speak about the Clock Tower next Tuesday

Bracebridge General Committee will be addressing the Clock Tower issue next week.
On Tuesday morning, committee will discuss an exemption to the noise bylaw that has forced the clock chimes to be silenced.
Earlier in the month, owner of the Clock Tower building Martin Sheffield was forced to shut off the clock and chimes after an alleged complaint was made to the bylaw office, however that has not been confirmed.
Sheffield has submitted a request for an exemption to the noise bylaw.
If committee makes a recommendation based on the motion it will be forwarded to the next council meeting on September 28th.
Delegations may be heard during that council meeting, however a request must be submitted in writing to the Town Clerk by Thursday, September 22nd.
