Volunteers need for the HM Water Festival

Registration is full for the 2016 Haliburton-Muskoka-Kawartha Children’s Water Festival.
Coordinator Irene Heaven says this means they need more volunteers because there is 1,300 students signed up.
Heaven says the township of Minden Hills is helping the organizers with the cost of the event.
This is because the municipality is waiving the fee for the building permit.
Heaven says this event teaches kids water education, and has been for 11 years.
To find out how to volunteer go to the Water Festival website.
