Local businesses in Huntsville have come together to give one family from Mississauga a special Muskoka vacation.
Sonia Commisso is doing all she can to help her family get through life. Her daughter has Leigh’s disease and her son has a seizure disorder.
Last week, she decided to take her family to Huntsville and booked a hotel and arrived yesterday.
But little did she know, several businesses came together to give her family the Muskoka experience by providing boating, dining and exploring all for free.
Matthew Phillips helped make this possible and is proud of the community and those who contributed.
Sonia’s husband Tony has Secondary Progressive Multiple Sclerosis and is at home in Mississauga.
He will experience the Muskoka trip through a videographer who will be with the family until their departure on Wednesday.
