The Township of Muskoka Lakes Fire Department in Bala has donated a cheque to a local camp.
Crews say $1,000 has been given to Camp Bucko in Haliburton. The camp is for children recovering from burn injuries. The money was raised through car washes, boot drives and collecting at community events.
It was also announced the department is donating $250 in Canadian Tire money and coupons.
