Town of Bracebridge recognizes 75 years of service from local St. John Ambulance branch

Bracebridge is recognizing the work of St. John Ambulance Barrie Simcoe Muskoka Branch.
The branch has been serving these communities since 1941 and will be celebrating its 75th anniversary this year.
In 2015 the branch 234 events, treated 117 casualties and contributed over 12,000 hours of volunteer service in the region.
Mayor Graydon Smith says he appreciates the organization for all of the first aid training and other volunteer services provided to the community for nearly a century.
The Mayor was joined by officials with St. John to raise their flag at the municipal office on Monday.
