Bracebridge town officials show respect for victims in Orlando shooting

The Town of Bracebridge is sending thoughts and prayers to the loved ones affected by the recent shooting in Florida.
Today, the town has raised the Pride Flag to half-mast to show respect for the victims and to show solidarity with the LGTBQ community.
Mayor Graydon Smith says he always proud to raise the flag every July to support Muskoka Pride and show that Bracebridge is a safe place where everyone should feel welcome.
He says the flag will remain at half-mast for the rest of the week.
On Sunday morning, 49 people were shot and killed at a Nightclub popular with the LGTBQ community in Orlando.
Various media outlets in the United States are labelling this as an act of terrorism by the Islamic State.
