Muskoka Fire Prevention is Reminding Us of Dry Conditions

Everyone is asked to keep fires minimal during dry conditions.

This comes from Muskoka Fire Prevention as the Fire Danger Rating is set at moderate. This means there is no daytime burning allowed throughout the region. Dry conditions can cause fires to spread out of control.

On Thursday last week, crews from Muskoka dealt with a large number of fires, ranging from a train car on fire to a small forest fire in Dorset.
