There will not be any extra parking spaces in River Mill Park.
During the regular council meeting yesterday, the Town of Huntsville chose not to pick the option to add up to 21 spots on Dara Howell Way. Instead, town officials chose to only add more green space in the concrete area in front of the town docks.
Huntsville Mayor Scott Aitchison says green space is the main focus.
He adds there is potential to add more spaces but in a different area.
There is a plan to hold a public meeting at a later date where residents say what they would like to see.
