A class action lawsuit of 12 properties in Ontario, including the Muskoka Centre, has been settled.

The Supreme Court of Canada has approved the $36 million settlement.

This money will be used to compensate anyone who was harmed while living in one of these developmental service facilities between the 1960s and 1990s.

For Muskoka Centre in Gravenhurst, the settlement covers anyone who was harmed while living there between August 28th, 1973 and June 30th, 1993.
