The Mayor of Muskoka Lakes is excited for a new business in the area.
After the recent announcement that Port Carling would be getting a Tim Hortons at the corner of Highway 118 and Bruce Wilson Drive, Muskoka Lakes Mayor Don Furniss says this will provide jobs in the area.
He says he’s hoping to increase business opportunities for other entrepreneurs.
Furniss adds the township’s primary focus for the area is to create business opportunities.
The restaurant is expected to be built by late summer according to the contracting company.
