MTO crews work to reopen Highway 141

For the next 12 hours, Ministry of Transportation crews will be working hard to repair a washout on Highway 141.

On Friday morning, heavy rains ended up washing a way a large chunk of the road near Rosseau.

MTO representative Gordan Rennie says the culvert needs to be replaced.

Rennie says they hope to have the road repaired and reopened by Saturday morning.

Numerous roads around Muskoka have been flooded due to high water levels.
