The Huntsville Public Library is still in the planning stages for their extension project.
Since purchasing the building formally known as the Mac’s Convenience Store, the planning stages are still taking place. CEO and Chief Librarian Debbie Duce says they have boarded up the windows, shut the lights off and officials are now at the drawing board.
She says the library could be looking towards the community for support once a decision is made on an extension.
The building at 1 Minerva Street was purchased last November by the library board.
