Rain could cause some flooding in Bracebridge today
The flood warning remains in effect for Parry Sound-Muskoka. Environment Canada is calling for up to 25 millimetres of rain in the next couple of days, which may cause flooding in some low-lying areas across the district.
The Ministry of Natural Resources has said they were monitoring flood conditions over the Easter long weekend. We will get another update from our local Emergency Control Group later this morning. For a list of updated road closures and flood conditions go www.braceridge.ca. The MNR wants you to stay away from open waters, creeks and rivers.
