MNR says flooding for Muskoka and Parry Sound is not expected at this time

The Ministry of Natural Resources says flooding for Muskoka and Parry Sound is not expected at this time. Recently, the MNR District of Parry Sound issued a flood outlook statement. Officials say that despite flooding not being an issue, residents within Muskoka and Parry Sound should still keep a close eye on water conditions. Property owners are advised to check for regularly updated messages and to use caution when being around moving bodies of water. The MNR also adds that they’re closely monitoring weather and developing watershed conditions and will make updates when needed.
