Parry Sound – Muskoka MPP Norm Miller was on hand to vote in support of two Bills that passed and will benefit cycling in Ontario.
Miller says that he was very pleased in the steps taken in the past two days that will make cycling safer and more accessible in the Province of Ontario.
He then added that by making it legal to travel on the paved shoulder section of a highway, cyclists can ride confidently knowing they are within the law.
Miller had introduced in previous sessions a total of 4 private member’s bills that would promote safety and increased cycling opportunities.
