OPP have found the person they were looking to speak with after a fire destroyed a Baldwin Road home in Muskoka Lakes Township. Police and the Fire Marshall’s Office are still investigating the blaze which destroyed the home at 1101 Baldwin Road at 12:30am yesterday. Now police say they’ve located the owner of the Silver Dodge pick-up that was involved in a police chase on Highway 11 in Oro-Medonte at 1:38am that same morning.
Since the fire they had been looking to speak with the owner of the truck, 58 year old Thomas Lustvee.  There was no positive ID of the driver of the truck during the chase, but today police confirmed that charges have not been ruled out. So far it has been determined the damage from the fire is limited to property damage only. The investigation is ongoing and police are asking anyone with information to please contact Bracebridge OPP at 705-645-2211 or 1-888-310-1122.
