Police charge man for speeding and driving while disqualified

A Quebec man has been caught driving through the Almaguin Highlands over the speed limit and while disqualified. OPP were patrolling Highway 11 in the Perry Township area on March 7th around 8:30pm when they stopped a BMW travelling at a high rate of speed. The officer spoke to the driver and arrested him for driving while disqualified. The 44-year-old is charged with two counts of drive while disqualified and speeding and will face those charges in a Sundridge court in May.
