Huntsville resident Pierre Mikhail will represent the town well as torchbearer at the 2015 Pan AM Games Torch Relay. That’s according to Manager of Recreation and Leisure Services Simone Babineau.
Mikhail is a volunteer coach for high school cross country and is a competitive runner. The torch relay will come to Huntsville on June 3.
Now that the Town has chosen their torchbearer, organizers are getting ready to plan the rest of the event. Babineau says there’s lots to do.
Mikhail is one of 3,000 torchbearers in Ontario. The Games officially start July 10.
