Bracebridge man charged with impaired after car ends up in a snowbank

A Bracebridge man is facing impaired driving charges following an incident this past weekend. Bracebridge OPP patrolling in town Sunday shortly before 2am observed a car travelling very quickly on Quebec Street. The driver lost control turning onto McMurray Street and the car came to rest in a snow bank. Police have charged a 27 year-old Bracebridge man with impaired driving and having too much alcohol in his system. He’s to appear in Bracebridge Court March 17th to face the charges.
