Cedar Lane will be closed on Dec. 9 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. between 982 Cedar Lane and the Taylor Road roundabout.
The Town of Bracebridge said the closure, which includes the sidewalks, is to install a generator at the Tru by Hilton Hotel.
Officials said there will be no impacts to the roundabout, but access on Cedar Lane will be restricted to local traffic only between Pine Street and the north entrance of the Shell Gas Station.
Officials advise drivers to use alternative routes and follow all on-site signage during this time.
