Town of Bracebridge to start improvements at Memorial Park

The Town of Bracebridge is starting improvements to the pathway through Memorial Park this week.

Officials said the existing interlock pathway that runs the length of the park will be removed and replaced with a wider, paved pathway.

According to the town, the new pathway is designed to improve accessibility and make it easier for residents and visitors of all ages and abilities to move through the park.

Staff said construction will take place in phases and is expected to take up to two weeks to complete.

Officials said the park will remain open during construction, although temporary disruptions are expected as crews work on each section of the pathway.

During this time, staff said 10 parking spaces along Rene Caisse Lane will be unavailable.
