Town of Bracebridge launches program to help entrepreneurs in Muskoka

The Town of Bracebridge has launched a new program to help aspiring and established entrepreneurs start, grow, or purchase a small business in Muskoka.

According to officials, the Starter Company Plus program provides hands-on business training, expert mentorship, and funding support for individuals looking to take their businesses to the next level.

Town officials said the program offers a tailored experience to help participants develop essential skills and build sustainable businesses.

Through the program, officials said participants will receive one-on-one guidance from experienced business advisors, take part in workshops and networking opportunities, and develop essential skills in budgeting, marketing and business planning.

The Town said participants will also gain insights from seasoned mentors and be eligible for a grant of up to $5,000 to support their business goals.

The program was launched through the Muskoka Small Business Centre (MSBC) in partnership with the Government of Ontario.

Applications close on August 27, 2026, and the program runs from late September to December.
