Lake of Bays Fire Department to host an open house and recruitment drive Sept. 27

The Township of Lake of Bays is hosting an open house and recruitment event at the Port Cunnington Fire Hall on Sept. 27 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Officials said this is an opportunity to meet the firefighters, see the hall and equipment, learn about fire safety, and explore volunteer firefighter opportunities.

“All residents are encouraged to attend, connect with their fire service, and learn more about how they can play a role in keeping our community safe,” said officials.
