Bracebridge is the official host of the 2014 Ontario Winter Games and the push is on to get more volunteers to help out with the different sporting events. Organizers are looking forward to the Games’ opening ceremonies which kick off February 27th. Events will run in Muskoka and surrounding areas between then and March 2nd and will see 2,188 athletes competing in 27 sports. The majority of events are being held in Huntsville, including the ever popular men’s hockey and speed skating at the Canada Summit Centre. The Games have a 1.2 million budget.
