It’s been a busy few days for Huntsville’s Public Works department. The snow squalls, since Monday, had staff plowing our town roads tirelessly. Executive Director of Public Infrastructure Matthew Hartney says they didn’t hire any extra help.

He says the 14 employees adjusted their workload and hours to make sure our roads were well plowed, safe and clear throughout the day.

He also says plows were out from 2:00am until noon yesterday and there were two employees who worked from 8:00pm to 4:00am since Monday.
