Huntsville’s current mayor and council are meeting for their last regular council meetingĀ before the new council is sworn in. The agenda includes a presentation from the YWCA Muskoka on Debbie Kirwin’s Women of Distinction Award, award recognition for Rebecca Francis and David Groomes recognition of years of service. Council will also be discussing a petition on the men’s shelter, and vote to waive cancellations fees for the recent Girlfriend’s Getaway Weekend. The meeting starts at 1pm in council chambers.
