Man fined by a Bracebridge judge for hunting adult moose without a license

A Bracebridge Court judge has fined a man $1,800 for not obeying a moose hunting law. Bradford resident John Bohner hunted an adult cow moose without a license. He’s now also lost his hunting privileges for a year and has to pass a hunter safety course again. Back in October, the MNR says he was found in possession of an adult moose, but it had been tagged as a calf. The MNR says hunters have to correctly identify the animals they kill. Bohner also didn’t have the proper adult moose validation tag.
