Scout-Guide week in Canada

This week is Scout-Guide Week and the Scouts Canada Flag’s been raised
in Bracebridge. A special ceremony took place yesterday morning as
Beavers, Cubs, Scouts, Brownies, Guides, and others joined Mayor
Graydon Smith at Town hall. The week runs between February 16th and
23rd.  February 22nd is also the birth date of Scouts founder Lord
Robert Baden Powell. Mayor Smith says it’s an
opportunity to recognize the potential of Canadian youth and the work
Scouting does to help build future leaders across the country.
