OPP investigating Gravenhurst TD Bank robbery

Bracebridge OPP are on the hunt for a thief after a woman using the Gravenhurst TD Bank was robbed on the weekend. A patron of the bank, which is located on Muskoka Road South was robbed Sunday in broad daylight at 11:15am in the ATM vestibule. The woman had entered the vestibule shortly after 11am and found a young man there – he threatened her with a weapon, stole cash from her and fled. Members of the OPP Canine Unit’s helped in the search. Police are now asking for the public’s assistance in identifying the suspect who is described as a 5’6” male young person and very slender.  He was last seen wearing pale coloured jogging pants, a grey hoodie and a dark wind breaker style jacket. This investigation is ongoing and police are asking anyone with information to contact the OPP at (705) 645-2211 or call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
