Our region’s snow covered and icy roads have seen many collisions today – Highway 11 north of Huntsville is now open, but it was closed for most of the day after several multi-vehicle collisions. In Bracebridge there were numerous collisions on Manitoba Street, High Falls Road and Balls Drive – that one sent a pedestrian to hospital after he was hit by a car. This past hour collisions were reported on Hwy 11 SB south of Taylor Road but the scene was expected to clear. Police want you to keep off the roads if you don’t have to venture out – Another 15 cm is expected to arrive tonight.
