YMCA ‘Move to Give’ event happens April 25th

The YMCA of Simcoe/Muskoka hopes to raise more than $80,000 to help those less fortunate take YMCA programs. The event is called “Move to Give” and it’s happening April 25th at six YMCAs within our region, including the one in Gravenhurst. The event see’s participants get  active together while raising money to support the Y’s programs.  Options include walking 5km to running a half marathon, massive indoor cycling sessions, swimming challenges and more.  Last year, with the support of YMCA financial assistance programs, the Y welcomed over 6,900 children, teens and young adults to its centres across Simcoe/Muskoka.
