A Task Force reviewing healthcare service in Muskoka has found its district representative.
Muskoka District CAO Michael Duben is joining the Muskoka Algonquin Healthcare Capital Planning Task Force. The committee will put together a report reviewing the pros and cons of keeping the two hospitals in Muskoka versus building a new one. Duben says he expects his district experience will be an asset to the group.
Next March, the task force will be submitting this report to the MAHC board. There are no details on when the board will make its final decision on which option it’s going with.
