New Bracebridge fire hall expected to be ready for service in November

The new fire hall in Bracebridge is just a few months away from being finished.
Fire Chief Murray Medley says despite the wet summer weather construction has been moving pretty smoothly.

The building will also house Muskoka Paramedic Service ambulances so the District of Muskoka has put $3.7 million into the project and Bracebridge is covering $3.8 million. Medley says they needed the new facility because the fire service wasn’t able to expand in its old building across from the Bracebridge court house.  Bracebridge officials had originally estimated the project would be finished by October.
