The General Manager of Deerhurst Resort says the loss of two national events does not have an impact on business.
After the recent cancellation to the full Ironman last month and the weather cancellation to the Canadian National Pond Hockey Championships, the resort has lost out on two events in which they were to host.
General Manager Chris Lund says these cancellations do not have an effect on business because they are normally busy during those times.
He says even though there is not much of a business impact to his resort, it still has an effect on the community.
He says the resort is currently focusing on winter and the activities they are providing to their guests.
