A statement has been released by the MTO in regards to drivers ignoring the signs at the Rosseau Lake Bridge.
The emergency closure came on Thursday when the bridge was not safe for local traffic. Officials are aware of driver’s ignoring the road signage. Therefore, they have brought in more barricades, and have added police to patrol the area.
The area is expected to be reopened by the end of October.
Alternate detour routes are available, Â they are currently looking into shorter routes using district roads.
