More details about the plane crash in Algonquin Park

Police are still investigating a plane crash in Algonquin Park. The Haliburton Highlands OPP says at about 8:30pm on November 11th, a plane contacted the Toronto Area Control Centre about an airborne emergency. Communication was lost shortly after. The Joint Rescue Coordination Centre sent a helicopter and military aircraft to find the missing plane. The plane was found about 20 kilometres south of Whitney, Ontario in a dense bush/treed area. Two men, the pilot and his passenger were found dead. The cause of the crash is still being investigated and the identities of the men are not being released until their families have been notified.
