CN officials are sending a message to outdoor enthusiasts in Muskoka; please stay off the tracks.
The railway authority says spring is a great time to get outside and enjoy the warm weather, but CN Police Inspector Scott McCallum says that shouldn’t include risking your life by taking a shortcut on the railroad tracks.
Track trespassers can face a fine from $65 to a hefty $120. He says in serious cases trespassers can be arrested and face charges in court.
McCallum says he knows lots of people love watching trains, but they should be enjoyed from a safe distance.
