UPDATE: Evacuation underway on Wilshier Boulevard in Bracebridge due to gas leak

Bracebridge OPP is now going door to door to notify residents on Wilshier Boulevard of a gas leak. Union Gas is also on scene. Officials say drivers and residents should stay clear of the area around 7 Wilshier until future notice. The gas leak was caused by road work. There are no injuries to report.
