Police have arrested a suspect who has been using a fake carpet cleaning service to steal from homeowners.
Bracebridge OPP says the man was found in Gravenhurst with a number of stolen items.
Police say that the man would offer carpet cleaning or snow removal services to a person, and distract them into leaving a room.
He would then steal any valuables he could.
The fake service was called ‘Country Carpet and Upholstery Cleaning’ and any victims of this theft are asked to call OPP.
