Friends of the Muskoka Watershed gets $1,000 donation

Watershed

Muskoka Watershed got a boost this week after organizers with the Algonquin Outfitters’ Muskoka River X paddling race donated $1,000 to Friends of the Muskoka Watershed. Race Director, Mike Varieur says organizers are pleased to support the work of the Muskoka Watershed Council in promoting good stewardship across our region. Funds raised will go towards the 2014 Muskoka Watershed Report Card, which is set to be released in May. In the report card, experts will grade the health of Muskoka’s watersheds.
