Algonquin Outfitters Coat Drive returns to Muskoka

The annual Algonquin Outfitters Coat Drive has returned to Muskoka to help those in need in the community stay warm this winter.

The drive runs until Nov. 30, with residents invited to donate clean, gently used adult and children’s winter jackets, snow pants, and snowsuits.

Donations can be dropped off at Algonquin Outfitters locations in Huntsville, Bracebridge, Oxtongue Lake, and Haliburton, as well as the District of Muskoka office at 70 Pine Street in Bracebridge.

All collected winter clothing will be distributed through The Table Soup Kitchen Foundation, Gravenhurst Against Poverty, and the District Municipality of Muskoka.

For every item donated, donors will receive a coupon for $25 off a purchase of $100 or more that can be used at any Algonquin Outfitters location.
