Environment Canada Says Snow Squalls and Flurries to Affect Most of Muskoka this Weekend

Snow squalls and flurries are expected this weekend and it could start as early as tonight.

Environment Canada says a snow system is coming through and it will affect the Muskoka region. Meteorologist Peter Kimbell says temperatures are expected to drop and it could make the ground frozen which could lead to snow staying around for a few days..

With Christmas nine days away, he says it’s to hard to tell whether or not the cold weather will stick around.

He says temperatures could reach into the double digits by the middle of next week.
