The Huntsville OPP is investigating a fatal collision that led to a vehicle fire in Port Sydney.
Police say on Oct. 18 at approximately 3:48 p.m., officers were dispatched to a single-vehicle collision on Macks Road.
Upon arrival, police say the vehicle was fully engulfed in flames, and the on-scene fire department was working to extinguish it.
One person was pronounced dead at the scene. Police are not releasing the victim’s identity out of respect for the family’s privacy.
Investigators are asking anyone who witnessed the collision or has surveillance or dashcam footage to contact the Huntsville OPP or Crime Stoppers.
