Town of Bracebridge to carry out resurfacing work on three roads Aug. 24

The Town of Bracebridge will undertake storm sewer improvements and road resurfacing work on Hillcrest Avenue, Spruce Lane and Ann Street beginning Aug. 24.

Officials said work on Hillcrest Avenue will take place from Civic Address 38 to Spruce Lane, while work on Spruce Lane will extend from Hillcrest Avenue to Woodland Drive.

On Ann Street, officials said the work will take place from Aubrey Street to River Road.

According to officials, residents can expect increased noise and dust, along with single-lane traffic disruptions, throughout construction.

The Town said driveway access will be maintained throughout the work, although residents may receive advance notice if short-term restrictions are needed during specific construction activities.

Officials said emergency services and waste collection are not expected to be affected.

The Town said construction is expected to be completed by early October.
