Bracebridge Transit to offer free service for voters Oct. 14 to 26

Bracebridge Transit will be free from Oct 14 through Oct. 26 to help residents get out and vote in the municipal election.

The Town of Bracebridge says a temporary bus stop will also be set up at the Bracebridge Municipal Office at 1000 Taylor Court, where voters will be picked up and dropped off.

The free transit service will be available on weekdays only. Voters will need to arrive at the Municipal Office by 3:45 p.m. to cast their ballot, with the final pickup from the office scheduled for 4:45 p.m. Transit service runs on a one-hour loop.

Officials encourage residents to plan ahead and allow enough time to get to the Municipal Office, vote, and return to their regular transit stop.
