The YMCA of Simcoe/Muskoka opens registration for 12th annual Move to Give campaign

The YMCA of Simcoe/Muskoka has launched its 12th annual Move to Give campaign; a week-long series of fundraising events aimed at supporting programs and services across the region.

The campaign runs from April 11 to 18, with early bird registration opening January 22. Move to Give raises funds and spreads awareness for a wide range of YMCA initiatives, including employment and learning services, childcare, youth camps, language programs, and health and fitness opportunities.

Throughout the week, YMCA staff will host fundraising activities at their respective locations. Returning events include the popular Y-Ride cycle-a-thon, pickleball tournaments, and duck races. New events will also be added to the lineup this year, including the Great Lakes swim-a-thon.

Participants are invited to register as individuals or form fundraising teams, while local businesses and community members are encouraged to support the campaign through donations or sponsorships.

More information and registration details are available through the YMCA of Simcoe/Muskoka website.
