Environment Canada says most of Parry Sound-Muskoka is currently under a snowfall warning.
The areas under the warning include Huntsville, Baysville, South River, Burk’s Falls, Parry Sound, Rosseau and Killbear Park.
Officials say we can expect to see 15-25 centimetres of snow, heavy at times for most of Wednesday. They are also calling for another 10-15 centimetres possible by Thursday morning.
Snow may become mixed with ice pellets or brief freezing rain over southern sections Wednesday night as the low-pressure area moves in. Brisk northeasterly winds may also result in blowing and drifting snow in exposed areas.
Driving conditions will quickly deteriorate once the snow arrives on Wednesday.
