The OSPCA in Muskoka is asking you to name that foal.
A little colt was born in July to a horse that is being cared for by the OSPCA Muskoka Animal Centre. Centre Manager Jane McCamus says they’re taking this opportunity to involve the community.
The colt’s mother Dee was part of a group of horses taken in an animal cruelty investigation in March. McCamus says horse welfare is a large part of the OSPCA’s responsibilities outside of dog and cat adoption. Last year the organization found new homes for 20 horses in the province.  The contest is open until September 8th.
