District to provide open house for contested Bracebridge sewage project

The District of Muskoka has moved the time and location of an upcoming public forum.
Recently, the district had decided to hear from residents in Bracebridge before moving forward with a sewage development.
That meeting has now been moved up to January 12th at 7:00pm and will be held at the Bracebridge Sportsplex.
The development is being contested by a large group of residents in the McCrank and Westvale Drive areas due to excessive costs.
These residents are expected to make a presentation to the Engineering and Public Works Committee at the open house.
